Professor Duan Housheng has long been engaged in the research of civil procedure law, evidence law, and civil and commercial law. He has conducted in-depth studies in the areas of the theory of the subject matter of civil litigation, the theory of litigation structure, the theory of proof evaluation, the theory of civil law claims, the theory of civil procuratorial supervision, the theory of public interest litigation, the theory of remote trials, and the theories of shareholders' derivative actions and shareholders' special representative litigation. To date, he has published more than 70 papers in authoritative legal journals, core legal journals, and related legal publications, authored 7 personal monographs, co-authored 5 books, and participated in the compilation of multiple civil procedure law textbooks. Among them, his personal monographs "Theory of Civil Law Claims" and "The Doctrine of Negotiation in Litigation" have successively won the Second Prize of the Ninth and Twelfth Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Awards.

Professor Duan has received the Third Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Procuratorial Basic Theory Research from the Supreme People's Procuratorate in 2006, the Fudan University Teaching Achievement Award in 2007 (third place), the Fudan University Law School Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2008, the Second Prize for Research Work at Fudan University Law School in 2006, and the Outstanding Teaching Award at Fudan University Law School in 2005.

Professor Duan Housheng currently serves as a Civil and Administrative Procuratorial Consultant Expert for the Supreme People's Procuratorate, an Expert Member of the Internet Law Research Institute (Hangzhou), and an Expert Member for multiple local procuratorates, courts, and related institutions.

Professor Wang Mingliang has published more than 10 personal monographs, translations, co-authored works, and textbooks. He has led several projects commissioned by the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Ministry of Public Security. He excels in defending difficult criminal cases, especially those involving official crimes and economic crimes. Some typical cases where he defended as a lawyer or supported as an expert include:

·Fraud case by a shareholder of a company (alleged amount involved millions of RMB, sentenced to life imprisonment in the first trial, acquitted in the second trial).

·Embezzlement case by a senior executive of a financing leasing company (alleged amount involved nearly 60 million RMB, recommended a sentence of 15 years by the procuratorate, later sentenced to 9 years of fixed-term imprisonment by the court).

·Contract fraud case by the controlling shareholder of an international crude oil company (alleged amount involved 3.8 billion RMB, the victim requested a life imprisonment, finally sentenced to 15 years of fixed-term imprisonment by the court).

·Case of illegal granting loans and irregular acceptance of bills by a commercial bank (alleged amount involved nearly 1.8 billion RMB, the public security organ intended to file it as a corporate crime, but later dismissed after our defense).

·Case of impairing the interests of listed companies through breach of trust and illegal disclosure or failure to disclose important information by the controlling shareholder (the public security organ listed two charges of the aforesaid crimes to the procuratorate, which decided not to prosecute).

·False lawsuit case by a senior executive of a loan company (alleged amount involved millions of RMB, the public security organ transferred the case on charges of false lawsuit to the procuratorate, which returned it, and later the public security organ revoked the case).

·Insurance fraud and contract fraud case by a vehicle owner (the public security organ transferred the case on charges of insurance fraud to the procuratorate, which decided not to prosecute).

Mr. Ban Tianke has conducted academic visits at the Institute of Private International and Comparative Law at the University of Munich in Germany, the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary in Canada, and the Institute of Social Science at the University of Tokyo in Japan. His main research areas are civil and commercial law, tax law, and legal methodology. He has been selected for the "Shanghai Young Legal Talent Pool" and the "Shanghai Urban Renewal Expert Pool." 
Mr. Ban has published numerous academic papers in both Chinese and international legal journals, such as "Legal Research," "Peking University Law Journal," and "Peking University Law Review." He has authored the academic monograph "Research on the New Civil Code of Japan" and has chaired projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation. He has also participated in drafting industry standards related to compliance and has been awarded a National First-Class Undergraduate Course. Mr. Ban has been interviewed multiple times by Xinhua News Agency and other media outlets, where he has shared his academic views on social hot topics.

Mr. Han Kang specializes in criminal law research and criminal defense practice.
